The specialized antimicrobial agents in STS-PLUS have little effect on STS components and cause almost no chemical damage to flowers.
STS-PLUS prevents the growth of bacteria in the diluted solution and maintains high antimicrobial activity.
All the red in this picture is bacteria! STS used alone cannot prevent the growth of bacteria.
When used in combination with STS-PLUS, the number of bacteria is substantially reduced.

[ Test details ]
After applying each treatment twice to approximately 50 carnations per liter of solution, 1 ml of the solution was collected and cultured on a film medium to count the number of bacteria.
[ Results ]
Using STS alone produced a large number of bacteria. The film turned red because the large number of bacteria had been generated.
When STS and STS-PLUS were used together, bacterial growth was reduced.
*STS treatments other than PT CARNATION can also be used. In such cases, be sure to dilute the product to the specified dilution ratio before use.
*Undiluted solutions cannot be mixed with each other.
Antimicrobial agents are not included because they would affect the STS components.
As a result, a large number of bacteria can grow following a single treatment. Continued pretreatment using a solution in which bacteria have proliferated will naturally have a negative impact on the shelf life of the product.
Accordingly, we recommend that the liquid be discarded after a single treatment.
STS-PLUS is formulated with specialized antimicrobial agents, the main component of which is an antimicrobial agent that has little effect on the components of the STS.
Its high antimicrobial activity prevents the growth of bacteria and allows the STS treatment solution to be used repeatedly. The number of times it can be used depends on the environment, so please conduct a test in advance. (Verified for repeated use twice in summer at room temperature)
