Ten carnations were individually placed upright in vases containing either water or an a 100x diluted solution of KEEEPFLOWER EX, and a 1 ml sample of each solution was collected on Petrifilm 1 hour later.
A visual check was made for bacteria that developed on the film after 48 hours of incubation at 35°C ± 1°C.
After only an hour in the vase, the samples of water without EX still harbored bacteria, whereas in the samples of water with EX, the bacteria were killed by the antimicrobial action and did not grow.
After 24 hours, the water in this vase has so many bacteria!Water using EX is bacteria-free due to its antimicrobial properties. By using EX, you can keep the water clean for short-term storage until the flowers are sold.
